How to read the labels
- Grain size (µm) – higher number = coarser particles and a more pronounced "sparkle" structure.
- Pearl – strong pearlescent reflection, dynamic light reflections.
- Solid – full, uniform colour with minimal reflections.
- Deep – saturated, deep shades of yellow/gold for accent areas and veins.
Dosage and mixing
- Start with a pinch; typically 1–5% of the weight of the mixed resin (A+B). Add gradually.
- Mix slowly into the already mixed clear resin to avoid bubbles.
- For lines/veining pour from a slightly thickened mixture; for surfaces, pour immediately after mixing.
Where yellow shades stand out
- Jewellery and pendants – golden and "sunny" accents.
- Coasters, table tops – warm metallic surfaces and contrasting veins.
- Paintings/GEODE ART – combination of Pearl + Deep for depth and light effects.
Warning: Metallic powders shorten the pot life and make the mixture opaque. Have a procedure ready, do not exceed the recommended dosage and always do a small test.
