    Product detailed description

    en-71-3Resin furniture production often combines wood and casting resin. Epoxy casting resin on wood transitions in various areas from wood to resin, and the wooden surfaces need to be treated. A table with resin requires the highest quality materials, often involving a larger investment in the wood itself, and finishing with high-quality hard waxes is essential. The PNZ brand ensures this quality. PNZ hard wax is made from natural oils, giving the surface a brilliant appearance and highlighting the wood grain. It penetrates the surface very well, protecting and treating it.

    Characteristics:
    PNZ decorative wax oil for wood is highly water-repellent, breathable and vapour-permeable. Using high-quality pigments, the coloured wax protects the wood from greying. It is environmentally friendly and has a long service life. It consists of isoalifates, natural vegetable oils and waxes - sunflower and rapeseed oil from controlled domestic harvests, thistle and soybean oil, shellac wax, candelilla wax, carnauba wax, micro wax and lead-free driers.

    Processing:
    Wood moisture max. 15%. The surface must be clean, free of grease, and sanded.
    Manual processing:

    Apply the first coat with a brush, roller or spatula in a thin layer. After approx. 10 min, remove any excess so that the surface has a dry appearance. The surface can be "massaged" with a pad. Allow to dry for 8-10 hours (overnight) with sufficient ventilation. Apply the second coat in the same way, leaving no residue on the surface. When using white oil, we recommend applying a third coat of clear oil to prevent pigment abrasion. After complete drying (approx. 24 hours), the surface can be polished with a white pad or a very fine sanding disc.

    Machine processing:

    Apply a small amount of PNZ Hard Wax Oil in dots to the surface and rub it in thoroughly with a brush or single-disc machine so that the surface has a dry appearance. Repeat the process after 8-10 hours. The surface is walkable after 12 hours. Wooden boards and cork can also be treated in this way before laying. The absolute curing time is 8-10 days. Do not place any carpets on the surface before this time has elapsed. Working temperature min. 8°C

    Consumption:

    Depending on the type of surface and type of wood, approx. 1 litre per 20 m2 or more. For highly absorbent wood, such as beech, etc., we recommend applying 3 coats as described above.
