ASTAB is a two-component acrylic resin for wood impregnation and stabilisation. ASTAB has a high capacity for absorption and saturation of wood. ASTAB can be coloured with pigments for this acrylic system. An increase in temperature is required to cure the material. It can be achieved in an electric oven. After curing, the wood is very easy to sand and polish with sandpaper designed for sanding resin.
