Crystal epoxy resin JEWELA 15-24-1050 clear UV++

JEWELA 15-24-1050 UV++ is a low-viscosity, ultra-clear epoxy resin designed for making jewelry and small decorations. It is suitable for castings up to approximately 15 mm in height – for silicone molds, jewelry settings, bezels, lockets, and keychains made from letters, numbers, and smaller shapes.

Thanks to its excellent self-degassing and glossy finish after curing, the castings are optically clear and beautifully enhance the colors of pigments, glitter, and embedded decorative materials. UV++ protection helps reduce unwanted yellowing over time, which is essential for jewelry and small accessories.

• viscosity after mixing A+B: approx. 1050 mPa·s (for reference: 300 mPa·s extra thin – 9000 mPa·s extra thick),
• mixing ratio: 5 : 2 (by weight),
• maximum single mixed volume: approx. 0.5 l,
• maximum casting layer height: approx. 15 mm,
• hardness after curing: approx. 82 Shore D (56 Shore D medium hard – 90 Shore D very hard),
• processing time: approximately 30 minutes,
• curing time: approx. 24 hours (depending on ambient temperature and amount of material being cast),
• optimal processing temperature: 22–23 °C,
• processing options: after hardening, it can be sanded and polished.

Pigmentation and Colouring

• for transparent coloring use special resins dyes,
• for opaque (covering) tinting choose high-quality resin pigments,
• for special effects you can add luminous powder or metallic powder,
• You can add glitter and sparklesto the resin, add dried flowers or decorative petals,
• for original "marble" and smoke effects, use alcohol inks.

Important warning

• When sealing porous materials (e.g. wood), it is advisable to first seal the surface with penetrationto prevent bubbles from escaping during curing,
• processing temperature (mixing, pouring) must not drop below 20 °C,
• There must be no significant temperature fluctuations during curing - this can negatively affect the surface and clarity of the casting,
• The mixing ratio of component A + B is by weight – to maintain the correct ratio, we do not recommend measuring by volume, both components need to be carefully weighed.
