Clock movements
Resin clocks are easy to make using a decoration mould. The silicone decoration mould in the clock design provides the basis for pouring resin into the finished mould. Another option for making resin clocks is to use a ready-made circular shape, for example, made of plywood. When using absorbent materials, it is important to consider priming the absorbent surfaces. Priming seals the absorbent surface and prevents bubbles from forming in the resin. The casting resin can be coloured with resin dyes or saturated with resin pigments. More advanced users will reach for diffuse pigments, which can be used to create creative effects in the resin. The clock movement is the final step in completing a resin clock. Its assembly is easy. The question remains, which hands of the clock movement to choose to match our piece.
